Here’s what we did on our passage through Jakarta, Indonesia.
We only had half of the day to discover a bit of this massive Asian city capital, so we went straight to TripAdvisor’s top recommended places to visit in Jakarta, “Taman Mini Indonesia Indah”, or Beautiful Indonesia Miniature Park.
Taman Mini is the brainchild of the late Ibu Tien Soeharto, former Indonesian First Lady, opened in April 20, 1975. Here you can find from ancient Indonesian architecture to a DC3 Aircraft build in 1930’s then renewed and placed in the park for display back in 2010.
The entry fee is only 30,000 Indonesian Rupiah which is around 2.10 USD, is the best way to have a lot of fun for an entire day for only a couple of US dollars.
I hope you will have the opportunity to visit this cool park on your layover in Jakarta.
See you soon with new recipes and adventures.
